E33 JonBenet Ramsey Pt 3

Thursday Dec 28, 2023

Thursday Dec 28, 2023

In part three of our discussion about JonBenét Ramsey’s case, we pick up where we left off… in the kitchen with the infamous bowl of pineapple chunks. We also look at some investigators’ resignations and others’ public statements about the case.
We’re continuing to present all of the perspectives from those who have worked on or closely studied the case instead of presenting one side or just talking about our opinion (don’t worry, if you want to know what we think, we’ll tell you later in this series).

E32 JonBenet Ramsey Pt 2

Monday Dec 25, 2023

Monday Dec 25, 2023

SURPRISE! It’s not Thursday yet, but we thought we’d slip in an extra episode ahead of schedule for the holidays. Hopefully you’re enjoying this time of year, but that wasn’t the case for this innocent little girl 27 years ago. In part two of our series about the horrific murder of six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey, we discuss some of the notable evidence from the case: The “ransom” letter, notepad, pen, DNA, train room window, etc. There have been many developments and conflicting opinions on most, if not all, of the evidence since it was first recovered in 1996. We do our best to present all of the perspectives from those who have worked on closely studied the case instead of presenting one side or just talking about our opinion.

E31 JonBenét Ramsey Pt 1

Thursday Dec 21, 2023

Thursday Dec 21, 2023

The seemingly idyllic town of Boulder, Colorado, had one murder in 1996: six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey. As we recorded these episodes, we’re approaching the 27th anniversary of one of America’s most notorious and disturbing crimes, yet it remains an open and ongoing investigation.
We begin our discussion of the case with an introduction of the events of Christmas day in 1996 through the discovery of JonBenét’s body and her autopsy. Next we discuss evidence from the case and the theories surrounding the perpetrator’s identity.

E30 Death of Dahmer

Thursday Dec 14, 2023

Thursday Dec 14, 2023

Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer. He is virtually synonymous with true crime and has been the subject of many books, movies, documentaries, articles, shows, and podcasts. Unfortunately, he is often given names that make him seem mythological or practically glamorize the horror he inflicted on his victims. We don’t want to do any of that.
So, in this episode we discuss the death of Dahmer. Specifically, how he met his own demise.

E29 Lynn Hernan Pt 2

Thursday Dec 07, 2023

Thursday Dec 07, 2023

Known as the 'Eye Drop Murder Trial' Jessy Kurczewski was accused of killing her life-long friend, and someone who treated her like a daughter, using eye drops. Lynn Hernan, 62, died in her home on Oct. 3, 2018 and the death was originally considered a drug overdose - possibly a suicide. The medical examiner determined the cause of death was poisoning and the manner of death was homicide. Investigators soon discovered the Jessy had been bleeding money from Lynn's accounts before and after her death. Combined with Jessy's history of fraud, lies to those around her, changing story to investigators, and the evidence at the scene, it all added up to one despicable murder.

E27 Bill Nelson

Thursday Nov 23, 2023

Thursday Nov 23, 2023

For turkey day this year the Brothers discuss a gruesome and disturbing murder that took place on Thanksgiving in 1991. Bill Nelson was a larger than life kind of guy with an interesting background. Unfortunately for him, he met a woman named Omaima about a month before Thanksgiving. What happened after they met is hard to believe. It could also be hard to hear. This episode covers a lot of disturbing topics: Child abuse, sexual abuse, murder, dismemberment, and cannibalism.
