E23 Anthony Ray Hinton

Anthony Ray Hinton was one of the longest serving death row inmates in Alabama history, spending nearly three decades watching the men around him disappear: smells of last meals and electrocutions regularly taking place. But, Anthony swore he was innocent. He had an alibi. Would anybody listen?

Anthony took his case all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States seeking relief. Want to know why he was arrested in the first place? How he was convicted and whether the Supreme Court granted him any relief? Listen to this episode to find out!
